In this year's ranking, our programs were ranked 21st. Kozminski University has been qualified as the only Polish, and at the same time the only Central European, university in this ranking, while international partner universities of Kozminski University were ranked: second - ESCP Business School and third - SKEMA Business School. The first place in the ranking was maintained by HEC Paris.
The master's programs in finance and accounting at Kozminski University are chosen not only by the most talented but also by the most motivated graduates of undergraduate studies from Poland and abroad to start a career in high positions. The "FT" ranking draws attention to career development, in which KU graduates are ranked 10th in the world. Even better is their ability to take up a job anywhere in the world - in this respect, they are ranked 8th in the world. By choosing a double degree program, students can obtain two diplomas - both from KU and one of its partner universities: SKEMA Business School, University of Porto, or ESSCA - School of Management in France. The finance and accounting programs at Kozminski University have the highest, distinctive rating of the Polish Accreditation Committee. The current business partners of the studies are KPMG, Accenture Operations, Citi, and Santander. Thanks to the cooperation with professional organizations such as the CFA Institute, ACCA, CAIA Association, or GARP, students can earn international certificates and professional qualifications recognized around the world. These institutions work closely together in developing the curriculum.
– The finance and accounting programs are fairly elite in nature. From the very beginning, students are provided with modern analytical tools, such as the Bloomberg Laboratory, or internships in top global and domestic companies. A natural consequence of such a program is a good professional start, thanks to which Kozminski is once again so high in the global ranking - says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Ph.D., Rector of Kozminski University.
The "FT" ranking examines the fate of graduates and confirms that both Polish and international graduates from Kozminski University's finance & accounting programs perform very well. On the programs conducted only in English, more than half of the students are of international origin. They choose this university because of its strong international position: an attractive curriculum, AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA accreditations as well as its high standings in the "Financial Times" rankings.
– The international nature of our university, the finance and accounting program conducted in English, excellent career prospects for KU graduates, as well as efficient administration services for international students have been important arguments for candidates both from Poland and abroad - says Prof. Jacek Tomkiewicz, Ph.D., Dean of the College of Finance and Economics at KU. – The high positions of our programs in the international "FT" rankings confirm the accuracy of their choices.
– We combine the passion of students with the latest theory and practical experience, among others thanks to the close cooperation with partners from the financial industry. In this way, we create an active community of aspiring and experienced financial professionals. One of the best examples of this is the "CFA Research Challenge" competition, in which for several years now our students have been placed at the top, and as a result have gained recognition from the community and a good starting point for a career in finance. The latest "FT" ranking is our joint achievement and motivation to try even harder - says Franjo Mlinarič, PhD, Leader of the Master in Finance and Accounting program.
