Scholarships and Discounts

Students enrolled for the Bachelor and Master programs at KU have the opportunity to benefit from many scholarships and discounts. Both full-time and part-time students can apply for scholarships. The scholarships are granted for one academic year (up to 10 months) by the Scholarship Committee upon the student's application.
 

 

Scholarship for the Best Candidates

Bachelor programs conducted in English

Admission is based on the results of the matriculation exam (matura) in three written subjects chosen by the candidate among all of the subjects in the examination. Qualifying points are calculated based on the percentage results from the matriculation certificate (nowa matura) as follows:

  • 1% at the basic level = 1.5 points
  • 1% at the advanced level = 2 points
  • 1% at the bilingual level = 2,5 points
  • 1% at the advanced level of Mathematics = 3 points

Grades obtained as result of the "old matriculation", International Baccalaureate system or a foreign high school diploma are also converted into qualifying points. Candidates who have reached the minimum level of 350 points will be admitted to Kozminski University programs until the enrollment limit for chosen program is reached.

Candidates who have achieved at least 600 qualifying points will be awarded the "Scholarship for the Best Candidates" that will cover 100% of tuition.

The "Scholarship for the Best Candidates" is granted for the first semester of studies, with possibility to prolong it for the second semester. The scholarship will be prolonged if the student obtains the average GPA at the level of 4,6.

Candidates for Master programs conducted in English DEADLINE: July 31, 2024

Admission for full-time Master programs at Kozminski University is based on 2 criteria: GPA on your previous studies and results of an online entry test. Maximum score is 100 points - 50 points for the test and 50 for GPA. Candidates who scored at least 60 points from both criteria will be qualified to the program. Candidates, who have achieved at least 90% of the points from the entry test will have have the possibility to apply for the "Scholarship for the Best Candidates". The online application form for these candidates is available in the admission office. First year students of the programs conducted in English will be able to obtain a scholarship for one year of 18 000 PLN. The scholarship is provided monthly, as 10 deductions of 1 800 PLN from the tuition fee amount. The awarded candidates are chosen based on a ranking system.

Candidates for the Master in Big Data Science Program

Admission for full-time Master programs at Kozminski University is based on 2 criteria: GPA on your previous studies and results of an online entry test. Maximum score is 100 points - 50 points for the test and 50 for GPA. Candidates who scored at least 60 points from both criteria will be qualified to the program. Following the application process, the student will need to take part in an online Scholarship Test, which will be taken under consideration for the scholarship. Candidates who have achieved at least 90% of the points from the Scholarship Test will have have the possibility to apply for the "Scholarship for the Best Candidates". The online application form for these candidates is available in the admission office.

First year students of the programs conducted in English will be able to obtain a scholarship for one year of 18 000 PLN. The scholarship is provided monthly, as 10 deductions of 1 800 PLN from the tuition fee amount. The awarded candidates are chosen based on a ranking system.

Discounts for KU graduates

Graduates of Bachelor, Master, postgraduate, or Ph.D. programs of our University taking up a Master's degree receive a 15% fee reduction. They are also exempt from the admission fee.*

Graduates of Bachelor, Master, postgraduate, or Ph.D. programs of our University taking up a Bachelor degree receive a 10% fee reduction. They are also exempt from the admission fee.*

*The exemption from the admission fee does not apply to postgraduate, MBA and Ph.D. studies.

Other discounts

75% - for students, who study two majors at the same time (e.g. Marketing and Entrepreneurship, discount applies to the second chosen major) - is not applicable on the Master in Management program

50% - for students, who study two majors at the same time on the Master in Management program (e.g. Strategy & Innovation Management and Digital Marketing, discount applies to the second chosen major)

50% - for students, who study in two programs at the same time* (e.g. Management and Finance and Accounting)

10% - for students, who are children or siblings of other students, who attend the university at the same time

10% - for programs for alumni of Kozminski University

15% - for Master programs for alumni of Kozminski University Bachelor programs

* in case a student undertakes one program in English and one in Polish, the program in Polish is always the program for which tuition is discounted.

Kozminski Foundation Scholarships

If you are a KU student with outstanding academic and organizational achievements, then you can apply for the additional SCIENTIFIC SCHOLARSHIP of the Kozminski Foundation. They do not depend on the admission decision and the rights that the student has to stay in Poland. 

Since 2004, the Kozminski Foundation, created by Prof. Andrzej Koźmiński, the founder of the University and its long-term Rector, has been continuously supporting not only the most talented students of our University, but also young talented people, for whom undertaking studies at KU is the fulfillment of their ambitious desires.

In 2019 we funded scholarships for 56 people for a total of over 150 thousand PLN.
