The Warsaw Talent Cluster is an initiative that strengthens Warsaw’s potential by attracting and retaining highly skilled migrant professionals. The seminar summarising the project’s second phase, supported by the Centre for Research on Social Change and Mobility (CRASH) and the Analysis Office of the City of Warsaw, marked the closure of an important stage of the team’s work.
During the seminar, participants reviewed the key findings from Phase 2, including a preliminary analysis of talent migration corridors from Eastern countries and Asia. The discussion also focused on actions designed to improve the retention of international students and highly skilled professionals in Poland’s capital. Researchers from Kozminski University drew data from LinkedIn Talent Insights as well as insights from interviews with migrants, which together enabled a deeper understanding of migration patterns and talent flows.
The Warsaw Talent Cluster forms part of the Horizon Europe programme #Link4Skills. International collaboration is central to achieving the project’s objectives, supporting Warsaw’s long-term innovation capacity and competitiveness on the global stage. The final project conference is planned for March 2025, and the outcome will inform the implementation of the Warsaw 2030 strategy.
