Professor Bogdan Księżopolski (Kozminski University) has been included in the “List of 100 2025”, which recognises individuals who have made an outstanding contribution to strengthening digital skills in Poland. This year, the Chapter decided to expand the list to 103 people, reflecting an exceptionally close level of nominations.
The “List of 100” is an initiative run since 2017 by the Broad Agreement for the Development of Digital Skills in Poland – a collaborative platform bringing together institutions, organisations and companies committed to advancing digital education and promoting responsible, informed use of technology. Its mission is to support competencies needed across different areas of life – from education and work to civic participation – and to facilitate the exchange of good practices between communities that do not often collaborate in everyday practice: schools, universities, public administration, civil society and business.
Those recognised on the list are people who make a tangible impact on digital competence development in Poland: teachers, academics, experts and educators, as well as representatives of public institutions and social organisations. The 2025 selection highlights how broad digital education has become today, encompassing not only technology, but also security, responsibility, digital wellbeing, and critical evaluation of information.
In his work, Professor Bogdan Księżopolski brings together cybersecurity, artificial intelligence and digital education. As both a researcher and practitioner, he emphasises that technological skills should translate into real readiness to operate in the digital environment – especially in areas that are critical for organisations, such as resilience to threats, information security, risk awareness and responsible technology adoption. He leads the Department of Cybersecurity, specialising in information systems security, cryptography and AI applications, and is also the founder of the educational startup CyberSkiller.
His inclusion in the “List of 100 2025” reflects Kozminski University’s broader efforts at the intersection of technology, business and social responsibility – where digital transformation depends not only on tools, but above all on people and their skills.
