As a leader in innovation in education, Kozminski University has established cooperation with seven leading Ukrainian universities to support them in the process of internationalisation and integration with the European Union. The ongoing project is called "The Universities' Reaction to Major Obstacles: Building Resilient Higher Education to Respond and Manage Societal Crises" (TURBO), which further emphasises the strategic importance in the face of contemporary social crises. The workshop, organised by Kozminski University, focuses on several key areas:
- The first is the building of interactive universities, capable of responding flexibly to changing educational and social conditions.
- The second is the management of innovative educational programmes that aim not only to impart knowledge, but also to develop critical thinking and adaptability skills in students.
- The final but equally important segment of the workshop focuses on crisis management for university leaders, which is crucial in the context of geopolitical challenges directly affecting Ukraine.
All workshops are conducted in close cooperation with Ukrainian universities, allowing them to be tailored to local needs and specificities. This will provide universities with the tools they need to manage effectively in times of crisis and strengthen their presence in the international education arena. The TURBO project is helping to build a more resilient higher education system, better able to respond to the social and educational challenges of the future.
This project has received funding from the European Union (ERASMUS-EDU-2023-CBHE) under grant agreement No 101129315.
