Kozminski University has once again been included in the prestigious “Financial Times” European Business Schools 2025 ranking, taking 42nd place among the best business schools on the continent. The university remains the highest-ranked – best-rated – business school in Central and Eastern Europe and the leader in Poland.
An elite group of European business schools
The European Business Schools ranking is based on the aggregate results of institutions in several global “Financial Times” rankings covering Masters in Management, Executive MBA and executive education programmes, thus providing a comprehensive picture of the quality of business education and the programme portfolio. At the very top of this year’s list are INSEAD, HEC Paris, London Business School, ESCP Business School and IESE Business School – institutions counted among the absolute elite of global management education.
The position of Kozminski University places it ahead of many well-established academic centres in Europe. In this year’s ranking, the university ranks ahead of, among others, Copenhagen Business School (45th place), Prague University of Economics and Business (48th), Luiss University/Luiss Business School (50th) and HEC Lausanne, University of Lausanne (52nd).
Among Polish business schools included in the latest “Financial Times” ranking there are two institutions – Kozminski University (42nd place) and SGH Warsaw School of Economics (100th place). Thus, Kozminski University remains the highest-ranked Polish business school and the highest-ranked business school representing Central and Eastern Europe in the European Business Schools ranking.
Kozminski University is at the same time present in other rankings published this year that cover business education. It underlines its presence both in the ranking of the best Executive MBA programmes in the world, in the rankings of master’s programmes in management and finance, as well as in management education.
Quality strategy, internationalisation and the strength of the community
The strong position of Kozminski University in international rankings is the result of a long-term strategy of quality and internationalisation. The university belongs to the elite group of around 1% of business schools worldwide that hold the so-called “triple crown” of accreditations – AACSB, EQUIS and AMBA – reserved for the best institutions educating managers.
The university develops broad cooperation with higher education institutions on all continents, participates in international research and educational consortia and consistently combines management with new technologies, business ethics and sustainable development.
The Rector of the university, Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, emphasises that this year’s result is above all a shared achievement of the entire Kozminski community: “The listing of Kozminski University in the ‘Financial Times’ European Business Schools 2025 ranking confirms our stable position in the European top tier of business schools. Behind this position stand specific people – students, alumni, faculty members and business partners who co-create the university’s unique ecosystem. Rankings are an important point of reference for us, but we treat them above all as a commitment to further improving the quality of education and to responding even better to the challenges of the digital economy.”
On the campus of Kozminski University in Warsaw, students from many countries pursue their studies, taking part in programmes delivered both in Polish and in English – from bachelor’s and master’s programmes, through MBA, DBA and Executive MBA programmes, to doctoral studies and advanced development programmes for managers. Thanks to their achievements and the activity of alumni, the Kozminski University brand is recognised as one of the leading business schools in Europe, and Warsaw as an important point on the global educational map.
