16.06.2025

Kozminski University has once again been recognized in one of the most prestigious international rankings. In the latest edition of the Financial Times Masters in Finance 2025 ranking, the Master in Finance program was ranked 1st in Central and Eastern Europe and 34th globally, climbing as many as 10 positions compared to the previous year.

The ranking published by the Financial Times includes the 70 best business schools from around the world offering master’s programs in finance. Kozminski University is listed among such renowned institutions as HEC Paris, London Business School, IE Business School, SDA Bocconi, and ESCP Business School – the leader of this year’s ranking and also a strategic partner of the university.

The Financial Times ranking is based both on data provided by the universities and on alumni opinions collected three years after graduation. The criteria assessed include: quality of education, career progression, degree of internationalization of the program, availability of international internships, and the impact of the studies on salary and career mobility.

“Being promoted to the group of the top thirty-five programs in the world is a tremendous distinction, but also the result of the daily work of our teaching team, graduates, and program partners,” emphasizes Dr. Grygorii Kravchenko, Head of the Master in Finance program. “For years we have consistently combined high academic standards with a practical approach and a global perspective. The successes of our students prove that this approach works.”

The Master in Finance program stands out due to its close collaboration with global industry organizations such as the CFA Institute, ACCA, CAIA Association, and GARP, as well as with leading companies in the financial sector: Citibank, KPMG, Santander, Accenture, and the UN Global Compact. Students in the program have the opportunity to obtain international professional certificates, participate in double degree programs, complete part of their studies abroad, and benefit from mentoring provided by experienced market practitioners.

“Finance studies at Kozminski University are not only universal – allowing for a global career – but also, due to the steady demand for financial and consulting services, characterized by high resilience to economic fluctuations,” adds Prof. Jacek Tomkiewicz, Dean of the College of Finance and Economics. “Thanks to continuous program enhancement and innovative teaching methods, our graduates are exceptionally well-prepared to face the challenges of the contemporary financial world.”

This year, Kozminski University has yet another reason to be proud – the spectacular success of students from the program in the global finals of the CFA Institute Research Challenge 2025. The team representing the university took first place worldwide, surpassing over 7,000 students from 1,153 universities across six continents.

This victory not only confirms the highest substantive level but also the effectiveness of the educational model implemented within the Master in Finance program – combining academic rigor with a practical dimension of education and preparing students to work in a complex, international business environment.

The Financial Times Masters in Finance ranking is considered one of the most prestigious sources of insight into the quality of master’s programs globally – recognizing their innovativeness, ties to the labor market, and tangible impact on graduates’ careers.
