Kozminski University is the partner of the 14th European Economic Congress.

The 14th European Economic Congress (EEC) in Katowice begins on April 25th. The main theme of this year's gathering of business, academic and political representatives from Central Europe is a focus on the different scenarios of further development in Ukraine and the country's future formulated in the new mission for Ukraine.

The organizers of the congress have also planned a series of debates dedicated to the issues of digital transformation of the economy. Cyber security, the threat of disinformation, the use of artificial intelligence, and cryptocurrencies - also these areas of digitalization are not indifferent in the face of war. Invited guests will present technologies with the greatest potential and their application in practice: robots in production and services, cloud, Internet of things, AI, VR, and AR.

This year, during the congress in Katowice, there will also be discussions on the potential of science and the economic use of knowledge. For the first time, the European Youth Forum will be held as an event accompanying the European Economic Congress. The idea behind the Forum is to provide space for active youth activists from the European Union, the Western Balkans, the Eastern Partnership, and Poland to share their experiences, establish contacts, and discuss issues that are important for young people all over Europe.

The three-day congress will comprise 150 debates, meetings, and accompanying events with the participation of the most important personalities from the world of politics, business, science, economy, and local government. The participants will meet at the International Congress Centre in Katowice, the debates will also be available to follow on the Internet.
