About Conference
We would like to invite you to participate in the 4th International Conference "Clinical Research is WE!", organized by Kozminski University. The conference will be held on October 10-11, 2024, stationary at the premises of the Academy in Warsaw. This year again, as in previous years, we will focus on the latest challenges and innovations in clinical research.
One of the main topics will be the update of the GCP ICH E6 (R3) guidelines, which introduce a number of new principles regarding quality management and decentralization of clinical trials. These changes are designed to improve the flexibility and efficiency of research while ensuring the highest ethical and scientific standards.
During the conference, we will also discuss patient recruitment for clinical trials, modern technologies to support research processes and project management in clinical trials. In addition, for the second time, the program will feature presentations of the best theses of PiMBK students, who will present the distinguished student projects of 2024.
The conference will be a unique opportunity to exchange knowledge and experience with international experts who will share their practical experience and present the latest technological developments in clinical research. You can't miss it!

The conference is addressed to all those interested in clinical trials, representatives of the medical and scientific community, patient organizations, public administration employees, representatives of pharmaceutical, biotechnology and CRO companies, as well as students of medical faculties and biomedical specialties. "We! are Clinical Research" - each of us creates them, each of us participates in them, each of us is part of them! It is the patient and the chance for the most effective and safest therapies that are the goal of conducting clinical trials and registering new molecules. The basis for success is knowledge experience and exchange of experience. At Kozminski University, majors related to health care and clinical research are developing rapidly (see here: https://www.kozminski.edu.pl/pl/zdrowie).
We focus on healthcare management, clinical research management and monitoring - we have already completed more than 30 editions - as well as highly specialized and cutting-edge courses such as MBA health, project management in clinical research, market for medical devices and technologies or health manager of the future. Thanks to the cooperation of many specialists and practitioners in the field of clinical research and health, as well as an active group of ALK graduates, we create an international platform for the exchange of up-to-date knowledge and experience. We direct educational and promotional activities to everyone interested in health, clinical research and modern solutions in health care. Through educational and promotional activities such as the International Clinical Research To Us Conferences, we influence the internationalization of relations and the development of cooperation. The goal of our movement is the substantive and personal development of each person associated with clinical research, the exchange of experiences and dissemination of medical knowledge to the widest possible audience, as well as inspiring networking and promotion of cooperation between professionals in health care and clinical research
Organizing Committee
Łukasz Więch is an experienced public health practitioner with more than 15 years of experience in clinical research and extensive expertise in health care management. His professional interests include change management, management education, organizational development and ethics in clinical research.
He currently serves as Medical Director at Accelerated Enrollment Solutions, where he is responsible for the development of the organization's clinical team in Poland and the quality of ongoing research at Synexus sites. He is also a leader of health studies at Kozminski University, where he has educated more than 2,000 graduates over the years, developing their competencies in health care management and clinical research.
As a certified trainer of the advanced simulation game SysTeamsChange®, he supports managers and organizations in developing practical change management skills, particularly in the healthcare sector. He also conducts scientific research on the use of simulation games as educational tools in management processes, combining theory and practice and setting new directions in the field.
He is vice-chairman of the Council of the Health Policy Institute, actively working to shape health policy and innovation in health care.
He believes that the future of the health care system is based on education, innovation and collaboration. Working at the intersection of science, business and clinical practice, he consistently strives to create value for patients, professionals and organizations.
Absolwentka kierunku Biotechnologia Politechniki Rzeszowskiej oraz Politechniki Warszawskiej. Słuchaczka studiów podyplomowych Prowadzenie i Monitorowanie Badań Klinicznych na Akademii Leona Koźmińskiego.
Od początku zawodowej ścieżki związana z sektorem bezpieczeństwa leków oraz wyrobów medycznych. Pierwsze kroki stawiała w rozpoznawalnej, międzynarodowej firmie farmaceutycznej. Aktualnie Medical Device Complaints & Vigilance Coordinator współpracuje zarówno z działem Post- Market Surveillance jak i badań klinicznych.
Członek Stowarzyszenia na Rzecz Dobrej Praktyki Badań Klinicznych w Polsce- GCPpl.
Biotechnologist and PhD student at the Institute of Genetics and Biotechnology, University of Warsaw. She studied in research laboratories at the University of Warsaw, Cancer Research UK Cambridge Institute, University of Cambridge and University of Manchester, among others. Her main research interests are cancer biology and gene transcription regulation in the context of human disease.
At Kozminski University, she is involved in research activities with AIValue4Health.
Graduate of Biology at Jagiellonian University, Conducting and Monitoring Clinical Trials at Kozminski University, Faculty of Journalism and Political Science at Warsaw University and Chartered Institute of Marketing in London. He has practical, extensive experience as a project manager, mainly in managing projects in the medical industry.
He served as a manager in the healthcare industry for more than 10 years. He is currently developing in the field of clinical research as a coordinator at the Clinical Research Support Center of the Military Medical Institute - PIB.
He is a member of the Association for Good Clinical Practice in Poland (GCPpl) and the "Clinical Trials are WE!" movement. - a platform for the exchange of international experience and knowledge in the field of clinical research.
Graduate of medical analytics at the Medical University of Warsaw and of doctoral studies at the First Medical Faculty of WUM. Listener of postgraduate studies Conducting and Monitoring Clinical Trials at Kozminski University.
Since the beginning of her professional path, she has been involved in the study of molecular and biochemical pathomechanisms of metabolic disorders. Currently co-managing the newly established Faculty of Medicine at UKSW, responsible for the training of future medical staff. Performer of projects in the field of education and health care organization. Interested in the possibility of developing clinical research in Poland and optimizing the management of projects and non-commercial clinical trials.
