Civil law and public procurement law –
systemic, normative and axiological interactions
The Chair of Civil Law at Kozminski University in Warsaw, under the auspices of the Public Procurement Office, invites you to a nationwide scientific conference on September 11, 2024
Prawo cywilne a Prawo zamówień publicznych – interakcje systemowe, normatywne i aksjologiczne
About conference
Civil law and public procurement law have a close relationship, discernible in both academic research and practice. The aim of the conference is to discuss the application of principles and institutions of civil law in the context of the applicable provisions of public procurement law. These issues have not been frequently discussed so far. The event will also provide an opportunity for debate between civilians and academics specializing in public procurement law and leading representatives of legal practice from both branches. Conference participants are also invited to actively participate in the discussions after each panel. The organizers hope that the result of this exchange of views will be an assessment of the current state of the civil law norms contained in the Public Procurement Law of 2019, an indication of the need for their possible changes and directions for further development. An additional opportunity to do so is the evaluation, planned for this year, of the functioning of the solutions adopted in the 2019 PPL Law. (after 3 years of its implementation) aimed at identifying the needs for its possible modernization.
