The project is financed under the European Funds for Social Development 2021-2027 program, co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus

Project goal

The aim of the project is to comprehensively develop teaching, digital and green transformation competencies and qualifications, as well as other substantive competencies of KU staff (academic staff, doctoral students and lecturers) through the implementation of the following tasks:

1. “In house” trainings Development of competence and qualifications of teaching staff in adapting educational methods to the needs of the current generation and the digital transformation process.

2. External development activities (domestic and foreign) Participation in symposiums, conferences, workshops for staff responsible for the creation of educational programs, including innovative didactics, as well as their updating and quality supervision

3. Teaching internships in leading business universities abroad Improvement of study programs by absorbing the latest trends of recognized global universities

The mandatory path for each project participant is to improve competencies and qualifications in three areas: teaching, digital and green transformation.

Target group

for task 1 - 150 people - teaching staff of KU

Form: classroom and hybrid trainings

for task 2 - 32 people - deans, vice-deans, heads of studies, experienced academic staff, at the same time teaching staff

Form: symposia, seminars, training courses, workshops

for task 3 - 5 people - deans, pro-deans, heads of studies, experienced staff, at the same time teaching.

Form: internships abroad

As a result of the planned activities, the main results will be realized:

  • Number of entities of the higher education and science system that have adapted education to the needs of the development of the economy and the green and digital transformation - 1
  • Number of academic staff covered by support for acquisition and development of competencies or qualifications - 112

Moreover

  • the solutions developed for the staff will be integrated into the system of development of didacticians at KU (culture of knowledge sharing);
  • competencies and qualifications acquired by the staff will be used during classes with students;
  • innovative teaching solutions will be implemented as a result of, among other things, training and foreign trips.

Indirect recipients of the project will be those who will benefit from the changes introduced thanks to the project's funding; all those to whom the University's offer will be addressed, including students and university candidates.

we kindly inform you about the possibility of reporting to the Managing Authority (Ministry of Funds and Regional Policy) or the Intermediate Body (National Center for Research and Development) any suspicion of non-compliance of the Project or the Beneficiary's activities with the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities drawn up in New York on December 13, 2006 (Journal of Laws .U. of 2012, item 1169, as amended), hereinafter referred to as the "CRPD". Signals, reports or complaints regarding non-compliance of FERS projects with the provisions of the CRPD may be submitted by natural persons (project participants or their proxies and representatives), institutions participating in the implementation of European Union funds, social parties (associations, foundations), using (in each case below) the application is deemed to have been submitted in writing):
