Professor Paweł Mielcarz teaches in and heads the Department of Finance, but also coordinates the MBA program in finance and postgraduate studies in finance. At Kozminski University, he also held management positions such as the member of the Financial Committee or the Vice-Dean of the College of Management and Finance responsible for the development of finance and management studies, including master’s in finance and accounting studies (20th place in the 2020 ranking of master’s studies in finance according to Financial Times). His scientific work focuses on enterprise value management, along with the valuation of companies, projects, and real options. He authored or co-authored several dozen articles, scientific articles, and books such as Analiza projektów inwestycyjnych w procesie tworzenia wartości przedsiębiorstw (Investment Projects Analysis in Creating Company Value) and Krótkookresowy wpływ rekomendacji na rynek giełdowy w Polsce (Short-Term Impact of Recommendations on Poland’s Stock Market). He taught, among other things, valuation and broadly understood corporate finance (also to postgraduate and MBA students) at Kozminski University, the Wrocław University of Economics and Business, the University of Warsaw, the Haaga-Helia University of Applied Sciences, the University of Applied Sciences Kufstein, EDC Paris Business School, EM Normandie Business School, the University of Porto, and International Black Sea University. For 10 years, he has been cooperating with the ESSCA School of Management, where he teaches financial analysis and valuation for master’s students in finance. He graduated from the Harvard Business School in Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning and Case Study Workshop programs.
