Paweł Kuśmierowski
Paweł has over 25 years of professional experience in leading Polish and international companies. He has a diverse background covering business strategy development, driving large-scale business and technology transformation programs, cost optimization programs and launching new business lines. He has a functional practice as a head of sales & customer service, marketing, business development and IT. His recent experience on the board level (Neuca, PZU Zdrowie) was in such areas as healthcare, health insurance, clinical trials and drug e-commerce.
He transformed Neuca into an international company through European expansion of clinical trials and as a result built a European leader. In addition, he moved Neuca onto the Polish cross-country healthcare market by designing and launching an m-health app (HeyDoc.pl) and acquisition of an insurer (TU Zdrowie).
In the past, he led big Polish merger and transformation programs of sales & service organizations of two telcos (TP and Centertel), and two insurances (PZU and PZU Życie). He also realized several strategies and implementation projects within top consulting companies in Poland and abroad for clients of various industries.
Relevant experience :
•Creator of a new strategy and leader of transformation Neuca from a drug distributor to a strong, comprehensive health business, having an impact on a fourfold increase in the company's market valuation.
•Building a network of doctors shared between different businesses (telemedicine, clinics, clinical trials, internet societies).
•Commitment to ensuring nationwide access to anti-Covid and vaccine logistics; cooperation with the government Strategic Reserves Agency.
•Transforming the Clinical Research Business from a Polish niche player in the European leader present in 8 countries; digitization by building a new solution (Hyggio).
•Increase in profitability of e-commerce businesses (Apteline.pl - ordering medicines, Ortopedio.pl - ordering orthopedic equipment); launch of the suplindex.com portal - dedicated to dietary supplements.
•Concentration of b2c on-line activities under one new brand and mobile ecosystem/health application (heydoc.pl) - organized into therapeutic pathways integrating healthcare, pharmacy and Content.
•Pilot launch of an ecosystem/mobile application (healthdom.com) for a large Polish fitness network: integration of healthcare, supplements, diet and fitness activities.
•Building the 2nd position on the Polish market telemedicine, starting small, old-school business and technology.
•Management and development of own network of clinics (PZU Zdrowie, Neuca Med), as well as responsibility for the result as insurance companies (PZU Zdrowie, TU Zdrowie)
•Construction and management of a nationwide broker organizing doctors' visits in partner clinics (PZU Zdrowie, Neuca)
