Dear Students, Graduates, and Friends of Kozminski University, It is a pleasure to announce our next ESG Academy meeting!

Every second month, we invite you to an inspirational meeting with the best experts in the field of ESG, Sustainable Development, and green finance. The events are organized in a hybrid formula, so it is up to you if you want to join us on the University campus or online on the MS Teams platform. What is the meeting about?

Milena Olszewska-Miszuris

Milena is a practitioner of valuations, storytelling, analysis and financial and non-financial reporting with almost 20 years of experience in capital markets. Currently, she runs a boutique advisory company (WM Advisory Sp. z o.o.), supporting management boards in value creation, financial and non-financial reporting, valuation and investor relations. Milena is a member of the Corporate Governance Committee at Warsaw Stock Exchange, expert on sustainable corporate governance at the Human and Business Rights Program at UN Global Compact Network Poland and a member of ACCA’s Governance, Risk and Performance Global Forum. She is also a member of Association of Independent Non-Executive Directors as well as its Audit Committee and an active member of supervisory boards. She also gives guest lectures at postgraduate studies, e.g. at the Kozminski University in Warsaw or the Lazarski University - in the latter she also serves as an expert at the Institute of Sustainable Development and Environment. She is active in the ESG field: she is Chapter Zero Poland Ambassador and sits on the Council of Experts of the Women’s Individual Investors Club. Milena is also the founder and Co-Chair of 30% Club Poland - a social campaign aimed at increasing the number of women in corporate boards and C-suite. 
Milena started her career at an international consulting company Ernst &Young. For 10 years she has been an equity analyst at international brokerage houses. She is a multiple times laureate of analysts rankings for her insights and recommendations both domestically (Analyst of the Year title awarded by Warsaw Stock Exchange and Parkiet financial newswire, winner of analysts rankings in TMT and retail sectors) and internationally (top CEE analyst and top consumer analyst titles in international Extel survey).

 

Anna Golec

Anna Golec, Ph.D., CFA,
Academic & Freelance Business Consultant

Graduate and long-time research and teaching staff member of the Faculty of Management at the University of Gdansk. She received her PhD in economic sciences based on her research of corporate governance standards and financial performance of companies on the WSE. She is currently affiliated with University West in Sweden. She holds a CFA qualification, a Certificate in Public Administration and a Harvard BOK Higher Education Teaching Certificate. Her research interests focus on corporate finance, capital market problems and its participants. In addition to her academic work, she has experience in corporate consulting and has authored and co-authored numerous financial analyses and market reports. She is also an expert working for the European Commission, an examiner for the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors and an ambassador of the 30% Club Chapter Poland.
