Climate Change and the Voiceless: Protecting Future Generations, Wildlife, and Natural Resources
Join us for a unique event dedicated to the book Climate Change and the Voiceless by Randall S. Abate - a powerful work that sheds new light on how the law can serve as a tool to protect those who have no voice of their own.
WHEN: 25.05.2026, 14:00 WHERE: Room A140, Kozminski University, Jagiellońska 59, Warsaw
The book will have its official premiere in May this year! We invite you to a special pre-premiere event and a conversation about the publication.
At the heart of this inspiring discussion are the “voiceless”: future generations, wildlife, and nature itself. The author demonstrates how their fate is intertwined with emerging legal movements and how landmark climate litigation around the world is driving real change.
During the event, we will:
- explore how three key legal movements - the rights of nature, the rights of animals, and the rights of future generations - can work together,
- examine the most important precedents and strategies in global climate litigation,
- discuss how the law can evolve to better protect the most vulnerable.
This event is for anyone who wants to understand how ideas can shape reality – from students and legal professionals to activists and all those concerned about the future of our planet.
Participation in the event is free of charge. To take part in the event, please register in advance using the form available on the website.
Join us and be part of a conversation about climate justice - on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves.
