Associate Member Prof. Dr. Kata Fredheim

Dr Kata Fredheim is Executive Vice President of Partnerships and Strategy and Associate Professor in Economics and Business at SSE Riga, and a researcher at the Stockholm School of Economics. She is also the founder of a consultancy focused on identifying malign actors in the online space. With over fifteen years of experience in higher education strategy and partnerships, she previously led the University of Cambridge’s International Strategy Office. Her research, grounded in social anthropology, explores migration, labour markets, internationalisation, and higher education, with recent work on Ukraine. She works across policy, academia and business, with experience in executive training and strategy. She  teaches on BSc and EMBA level. Kata holds degrees from Utrecht (NL), Bristol (UK), and Canterbury (NZ).
