TRAINERS 

Pawel Mielcarz, PhD

a Professor in the Department of Finance at Kozminski University, Warsaw, Poland.
His research interests include corporate and minority stake valuation, capital budgeting and real options and value-based management. He has published a number of papers in the area of corporate finance and valuation, including articles in Emerging Markets Review, Review of Accounting and Finance, Economic Research - Ekonomska Istraživanja and Managerial Finance.
He was appointed the Head of Department of Finance,  Program Director for Master in Finance and Accounting, Postgraduate Program for Financial Controller, Financial Management and MBA in Finance.
Pawel Mielcarz has also taught at several European business schools and universities, among others EDC, Ecole des Dirigeants et Créateurs d'entreprise, ESSCA School of Management, Ecole de Management de Normandie, University of Porto, and Black See University.   

His experience in consulting includes valuation, strategies, M&A, and controlling system development and implementation. He has had the opportunity to work for leading corporations and banks operating in Poland as well as for Polish governmental and judicial institutions.

He has participated in several trainings and development programs for academics, among them the Global Colloquium on Participant-Centered Learning Program and Case Study Workshop organized by Harvard Business School  .

Marcin Ocieszak, PhD,

an Assistan Professor in the Department of Finance at Kozminski University, Warsaw, Poland. He teaches Corporate Finance, Investment project appraisal, Derivatives valuation, Principles of finance and Ethics in finance and accounting.

His research interest surrounds Mergers & Acquisitions, Real Estate Finance, Investment Project Financing and Software Industry. He thought in several business schools including Black Sea University in  Georgia and Lisbon School of Economics & Management in Portugal.
Before joining Kozminski University he used to work for more than 10 years in international organizations (Citibank and ING Bank( in Treasury and Corporate Finance Departments. He was responsible for financing investment projects, M&As, Commercial Real Estates and big companies in Mazovian voivodeship.

Marcin has as well strong managerial skills since during his last 3 years in ING he was a team head and was responsible for a portfolio of companies worth more than PLN 1,4bn.
