Once again our University took the first place among private universities in the prestigious ranking of "Perspektywy".

In the general classification of Polish academic universities KU was placed on the 13th position, and on the second place among the strong competition of economic schools.

For 22 years, we have repeated our success among private universities. This year we improved our ranking in the general classification of Polish academic universities. In comparison to 2020, KU has advanced from 15th place to 13th.

- We've already got used to first place among private universities because we've been occupying it almost since the beginning of the ranking. However, we make every effort to strengthen our position, which is proved by obtaining 100 points out of 100 possible in this ranking - says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University. - I am also glad that we are boldly entering the group of top universities in Poland, although our area is limited to management, economics, finance, and law. Our ambitions are higher and in the following " Perspektywy" national rankings we aim to reach the top ten of Polish academic universities.

The "Perspektywy" national ranking is the most respected list of Polish public and private universities. Among the criteria considered in the ranking are: prestige of the university (measured by academic staff and international recognition - weighting 12%), careers of graduates (including earnings and number of employees - 12%), innovation (patents and protection rights in Poland and worldwide - 8%), the scientific potential of the staff (parametric evaluation, qualifications of academicians, habilitation and doctoral qualifications - 15%), scientific effectiveness (acquiring grants, staff development, degrees, publications, citations - 28%), education conditions (lecturers' competences, accreditations - 10%) and internationalization (programs in foreign languages, foreign students and lecturers, cooperation with foreign centers, student and academic exchange, multiculturalism - 15%).

As the organizers assure, in this year's ranking - despite some modifications of detailed indicators - none of the academic ranking criteria have changed in weight, which ensures the possibility of comparing the results on a year-to-year basis.
