Professor Aneta Hryckiewicz-Gontarczyk, the leader of the Master in Big Data Science program, has been elected to the Committee on Finance Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences.
Professor Hryckiewicz-Gontarczyk will be a member of the Committee on Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences during their fourth term in 2020-2023.
The Committee on Financial Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences is a self-governing representation of scholars dealing with scientific issues in Poland in the field of its operation. Its goal is to undertake initiatives and activities to develop financial sciences and integrate scientists from all over the country. Its scope of activities includes the discipline of finance in the field of economic sciences, particularly the issues of public finance, corporate finance, as well as banking, financial market and insurance. The Committee consists of 30 representatives of universities in Poland and operates at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, hereinafter referred to as Faculty I.
