Yearbook 2024 is a summary of key areas of activity of Kozminski University. It contains information on completed scientific research, international cooperation, significant events and initiatives bringing positive changes to the environment. It presents how the Academy strengthens its leadership position in business education and supports social and scientific development.

Message from the Rector

Szanowni Państwo,

The year 2024 will go down in the history of Kozminski University as a remarkable period marked by international success and groundbreaking achievements. This is the year in which we strengthened our position  not only as a leader in Poland but also as a prominent institution on the global map of business education.

We are proud to lead the European University Alliance Consortium – @EUonAIR, taking on the challenges  of education in the era of artificial intelligence and environmental transformation. This year, our University was also  invited to join the prestigious Global Network for Advanced Management – an international elite of business schools operating under the auspices of the Yale School of Management. This recognition highlights our educational quality, visionary approach, and ability to adapt to the rapidly evolving challenges of our times.

 

We achieved a great result in the Financial Times European Business Schools 2024 ranking, advancing to the 38th position in Europe. Once again, we are the only Polish university in this ranking, surpassing renowned institutions such as Copenhagen Business School and Manchester Business School. This achievement proves that Kozminski not only keeps pace with the best but also sets standards in education, internationalization, and addressing the needs of the modern business world.

These successes would not have been possible without the dedication of our community – students, faculty, alumni, and business partners. A particularly noteworthy milestone was the establishment of a partnership with Elemental, led by our alumnus Paweł Jarski. This is the first company in Poland to become a patron of a higher education institution, opening a new chapter in the relationship between business and education. Strategic support from partners such as Panattoni, Bank Millennium, EY, and Ergo Hestia enables us to implement ambitious projects and create conditions for development on an international scale.

This year also brings new educational opportunities – we are launching innovative programs such as Management and Sociology in Business and Media, and Sustainable Business, addressing the challenges of the modern world. Hosting over 300 academic events, we welcomed distinguished speakers and fostered dialogue on social and economic changes.

Our achievements are a testament to the fact that international successes “made in Poland” are within reach. Ambition, collaboration, and striving for excellence are the cornerstones of our institution.
