Scholarships and Discounts
Students enrolled for the Bachelor and Master programs at KU have the opportunity to benefit from many scholarships and discounts. Both full-time and part-time students can apply for scholarships. The scholarships are granted for one academic year (up to 10 months) by the Scholarship Committee upon the student's application.
Financing your studies
Students at Kozminski University have access to various funding opportunities that can help them finance their education, either partially or fully.
Even before starting your studies, you can apply for:
- A scholarship for The best students, covering 100% of tuition fees.
- A scholarship for Olympiad winners and finalists, covering 100% and 50% of tuition fees respectively.
These scholarships can be granted for the entire duration of your studies.
Once you become a Kozminski University student:
- Firstly, you become eligible to apply for a wide range of scholarships, including those for academic, sports, and artistic achievements, as well as scholarships from the Ministry of Education, various foundations, and educational institutions. Additionally, need-based scholarships and the Kozminski Foundation Scholarships are available.
- Secondly, as a student, you have the right to apply for a student loan with preferential conditions, featuring low interest rates, a repayment start date of two years after graduation, and a possibility for The best students to have up to 50% of the loan forgiven.
- Thirdly, during your mandatory internship, you can take advantage of paid internship opportunities. Some of the nearly 200 employers who have agreements with the university offer paid internships to students. You can also participate in paid internships or traineeships abroad. Additionally, students can take on part-time jobs through the offers provided by the Kozminski University Career Office.

Scholarship for Olympiad winners and finalists
SCHOLARSHIP FOR WINNERS – 100% TUITION COVERAGE
Winners of nationwide Olympiads receive a special Rector’s Scholarship covering 100% of tuition fees for the first year of studies. To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.60 (on a 5.0 scale).
SCHOLARSHIP FOR FINALISTS – 50% TUITION COVERAGE
Finalists of nationwide Olympiads receive a special Rector’s Scholarship covering 50% of tuition fees for the first year of studies. To continue receiving the scholarship in subsequent years, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.60 (on a 5.0 scale).
Scholarship for The Best students
Undergraduate and Long-Cycle Master’s Programs
A 100% tuition scholarship is awarded to the student admitted to the first semester of full-time or part-time undergraduate (Bachelor’s) or long-cycle Master’s programs who:
- Scores at least 600 admission points from three different, freely chosen subjects in the written section of the Final exams.
- Achieves the highest number of points on the ranking lists, which are created separately for each program and study format covered by the scholarship.
Admission point calculation:
The admission points are calculated based on the following conversion rates:
- 1% at the basic level = 1.5 points
- 1% at the extended level (except mathematics) = 2 points
- 1% at the bilingual level = 2.5 points
- 1% in mathematics at the extended level = 3 points
Number of scholarships awarded
Full-Time Undergraduate and Long-Cycle Master’s Programs
A total of 17 scholarships are available:
- 7 scholarships for students of undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs in Polish.
- 7 scholarships for students of undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs in English.

3 scholarships for students of the long-cycle Master’s program in Law.
Part-Time Undergraduate and Long-Cycle Master’s Programs
A total of 3 scholarships are available:
- 1 scholarship for students of undergraduate (Bachelor’s) programs in Polish.

2 scholarships for students of the long-cycle Master’s program in Law.
The scholarship is initially awarded for the first semester of studies, with the possibility of extension for the second semester. To qualify for the scholarship in the second semester, students must maintain a minimum GPA of 4.60 (on a 5.0 scale).
Students who receive the scholarship for the full duration of the first and second semesters may apply for a tuition discount for The best students in subsequent semesters, provided they meet the eligibility criteria outlined in the Rector’s Ordinance on tuition fees and payment conditions for the academic year 2026/2027.
Once admitted, all eligible students will receive an email with a link to the application form for the scholarship program.
* The regulations do not apply to the Bachelor in Management – Sustainable Business program conducted in English, which has a separate scholarship program: "Sustainability Leaders Scholarship."
Master’s Degree Programs
Scholarship for the Best Students
Students admitted to the first semester of full-time or part-time Master’s (second-cycle) programs may apply for the Scholarship for the Best Students if they achieve at least 90% of the maximum possible score in the qualification test or admission exam during the recruitment process.
The scholarship is awarded to students who obtain the highest scores on the ranking lists, which are created separately for each program and study format covered by the scholarship.
The ranking lists for Master’s degree students include only those who have submitted a scholarship application and have achieved the highest total scores, calculated as follows:
1. 10% of the score is based on the GPA from the undergraduate (Bachelor’s) program, which served as the basis for admission to the Master’s program covered by the scholarship.
2. 90% of the score is based on the results of: a) The Scholarship qualification test – for students applying to Master’s programs in Polish. b) The Admission exam – for students applying to Master’s programs in English.
A total of 12 scholarships are available:
- 5 scholarships for students in Polish-taught programs, including:
3 scholarships for the Management program 2 scholarships for the Finance and Accounting program
- 7 scholarships for students in English-taught programs, including:
3 scholarships for the Master in Management program 2 scholarships for the Master in Finance and Accounting program 1 scholarship for the Master in Big Data Science program 1 scholarship for the Master in Global Leadership and Geopolitics program
Part-Time Master’s (Second-Cycle) Programs
A total of 4 scholarships are available:
- 2 scholarships for students in Polish-taught programs, including:
1 scholarship for the Management program 1 scholarship for the Finance and Accounting program
- 2 scholarships for students in English-taught programs, including:
1 scholarship for the Master in Management program 1 scholarship for the Master in Finance and Accounting program

The "Poland My First Choice" NAWA program
This program, created by Polish National Agency for Academic Exchange, is aimed at candidates from certain countries applying for a full-time Master's program in Poland. Awarded students are offered a monthly scholarship during the statutory period of their full-time second-cycle studies.

Discounts for Kozminski University graduates
Graduates of undergraduate (Bachelor’s), Master’s (second-cycle), long-cycle Master’s, postgraduate, or doctoral programs at Kozminski University, who are pursuing a second-cycle Master’s program or long-cycle Master’s program, are entitled to a 15% tuition fee discount. They are also exempt from the admission fee.
* The exemption from the admission fee does not apply to postgraduate, MBA, or doctoral programs.
Other discounts
Discount amounts:
- 75% – for students pursuing two programs at the same time at Kozminski University (applies to the second program, excluding the Master in Management program).
- 50% – for students pursuing two fields within the Master in Management program (applies to the second field).
- 50% – for students pursuing two programs at Kozminski University (applies to the second program; English-taught programs are always considered as the first program).
- 40% – for graduates of undergraduate programs at Kozminski University who have received a distinction (applies to the first semester of the program).
- 10% – for siblings, children, and parents studying at the same time in higher education (applies to the second person starting studies at Kozminski University).
- 10% – for children of MBA graduates, Master’s (second-cycle) graduates, or long-cycle Master’s graduates from Kozminski University, who are beginning full-time undergraduate studies (applies to the first semester of studies).

For this year’s high school graduates – first-year students in undergraduate or long-cycle Master’s programs: - Olympiad laureates/finalists or medalists from at least the Polish Championship sports competition, - Or based on outstanding academic results, i.e., high GPA from the previous academic year, - Or based on scientific/artistic achievements, - Or based on sports achievements
- Minister’s scholarship
- Emergency financial aid – one-time financial assistance for a student experiencing a temporary difficult life situation
Social scholarships, scholarships for people with disabilities, and the Rector’s scholarship are awarded for the academic year (up to 10 months) by the Scholarship Committee, upon the student’s application.

Student loans
Student loans are available on preferential terms and can be applied for year-round. Students can apply for a loan regardless of other scholarships or benefits they receive. The loan is provided by selected commercial banks. Repayment of the loan begins two years after graduation, allowing time for graduates to find employment and stabilize their financial situation.
The loan is repaid under very favorable financial conditions – the interest rate is only half of the NBP bill rediscount rate, and the repayment period is twice as long as the loan disbursement period. Additionally, if a student graduates as one of the top graduates, they are entitled to have up to 50% of the loan forgiven! A difficult financial situation may also be grounds for loan forgiveness.

Kozminski Foundation Scholarships
The Koźmiński Foundation’s scholarship programmes are open to students on first-cycle programmes (from the second year onwards), second-cycle programmes (first and second years) and single-cycle Master’s programmes (from the second year onwards).
They were created to recognise the diverse talents, achievements and commitment of the academic community. If you are involved in the life of the academic community, are developing your interests and want to make a real difference to the world around you, you can apply for one of the available scholarships:
EXCELLENCE – for students achieving the highest academic results and actively involved in academic life.
IMPACT – for those who stand out through social, organisational or sporting activities and have a tangible impact on their surroundings.
ACADEMIC STAR – for students with documented academic achievements outside the university, such as publications, conferences or participation in research projects.
CREATIVE – for those developing artistic talent and achieving success in the creative field.
PERFORMANCE – for students achieving very good academic results who are also involved in non-academic activities.
OPPORTUNITY – for individuals demonstrating an entrepreneurial attitude and commitment, for whom the programme provides support in levelling the playing field in education.
The programmes have been designed with students in mind – regardless of the mode or language of study. You can apply for a scholarship every year if you meet the requirements set out in the regulations. The support received is not only tangible financial assistance but also recognition of your achievements and commitment – visible in your academic and professional portfolio.
Scholarships are announced annually. The programme regulations are available on the Koźmiński Foundation website: www.fundacja.kozminski.edu.pl, usually from September of the relevant year. Applications are accepted from 1 to 31 October, and the assessment process takes into account achievements from the previous academic year.
