We are proud to announce that on March 10, our second-year economics students Piotr Pawlak and Mikolaj Knopek will represent the university in the finals of the 16th edition of the Solvay Business Game competition in Brussels.

SBG is one of the most prestigious business competitions, where the best students from all over Europe compete against each other on 4 levels: Finance, Strategy, Negotiation and Presentation. The competition's partners are global companies such as McKinsey & Company and Microsoft.

The Solvay Business Game is a business simulation competition organized by the Solvay Brussels School of Economics and Management in Belgium. The competition involves teams of students from universities around the world competing against each other in a simulated business environment.During the game, teams are presented with a business case and must develop a strategy to overcome the challenges presented in the case. The simulation covers a range of business areas, including finance, marketing, operations, and strategic management. The competition typically takes place over several days and involves a variety of tasks, including case analysis, presentations, and negotiations. The event provides students with the opportunity to apply their business knowledge in a real-world context and to develop their teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills. The Solvay Business Game is a highly regarded event in the business school community and provides an excellent opportunity for students to network with their peers and with representatives from top companies.

Once again, we express our heartfelt congratulations and keep our fingers crossed for our students!
