The ranking, announced on June 29, reaffirms Kozminski University's position as the highest-ranked non-public university. This marks the 24th consecutive victory for Kozminski since the first edition of the Perspektywy Ranking of Higher Education Schools.
This year's Perspectives Ranking is the first compilation to consider the evaluation results of universities' scientific activities from 2017 to 2021. While this did not significantly alter the ranking tables, some groups of universities, such as economics, experienced a slight decline compared to previous editions.
Kozminski University not only maintains its position as the best non-public university but also secures the top spot among management faculties (Management Ranking 2023) and second place among economic universities (Ranking by type of University - Economic Universities) in Poland. The university consistently demonstrates that its commitment to modern approaches and international presence influences the highest quality of education. Kozminski holds a range of international accreditations (EQUIS, AACSB, and AMBA) and excels in attracting students from around the world.
The first place in the Ranking of non-public schools in Poland is attributed to our entire community - all lecturers, employees, students, and business partners. The successful careers of our graduates validate the quality of education at Kozminski. However, this also obliges us to continuously raise the bar and establish new standards," says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.
The Perspektywy evaluation criteria for universities encompass nearly 30 indicators, including prestige, graduate earnings, scientific potential, innovation, scientific efficiency, educational conditions, and internationalization.
Embedded within the Perspectives ranking is the vision of an ideal university - a model that the Chapter adjusts annually to reflect the evolving reality. A world-class research profile, active engagement in global scientific networks, excellent faculty, high standards of teaching and internationalization, collaboration with businesses, commitment to fulfilling the university's social mission, and ensuring favorable employment prospects for graduates are the expectations of students, alumni, partners, as well as the social and economic environment, emphasizes Waldemar Siwiński, founder of the Perspektywy Foundation and creator of Polish educational rankings.
