Freshman Day, which took place on Wednesday (19.10.2022), will live long in our memory. The event was held in the Atrium of Building D from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm and was extremely popular.
What was happening that day?
- The day was opened by one of the main symbols of the Kozminski University - Leo the Lion, who was played by one of the students, demonstrating impressive tricks on BMX.
- After eleven o'clock, we could watch the Kozminski Boutique fashion show. Our clothes are designed within the walls of the university, made in high quality and produced in Poland. A unique products designed for Kozminski individuals - worn with pride. - Afterwards, everyone could take part in a competition on knowledge of the university with attractive prizes and a wheel of fortune.
- After thirteen o'clock there was a second fashion show and a quiz in English.
Everything took place in the atrium, and several hundred students actively participated in the event. Specially prepared for the occasion, the stands were filled with enthusiasts of the fields they represented, whether as scientific club, student organizations or as offices working closely with students.
As we walked by, we could see more than 20 stands locations available for event participants. The Leon Kozminski University Student Council group, offered special discount coupon books, gadgets or popcorn.
The Atrium turned into an ideal environment that made it easy to make new friends. Representatives of the Student Council, shed light on the functioning of this unit of the university. Club members and delegates , informed about their activities and the opportunities offered by these organizations and how to join them. Offices such as the career office, welfare office, foreign exchange office, IT and AZS were also present to answer the many questions of the event's participants.
