Our students from the Master in Management program Dawid Pasternak, Aleksander Szczupak and Pascal Żurek took first place in the 18th edition of the EY Financial Challenger. Out of more than 1,000 participants, they won the grand prize of PLN 35,000 and career offers at EY.
EYFC is the most prestigious competition organised by EY Poland with the participation of EY-Parthenon. It is about real-world examples from the field of M&A where we take the role of transaction advisors. In addition to accurate analysis of financial data, it requires participants to clearly communicate their vision and argue their position.
EY Financial Challenger XVIII was a competition that drove us, the team of Lwy Kozmina, to achieve new levels of excellence. With the knowledge acquired at Kozminski University through the practice-oriented teaching and our individual professional work experiences, we were able to solve the problems posed to us. We are proud to represent our university to the public and to show how acquired theoretical knowledge, strong teamwork and practical experience can be turned into success. The competition challenged us on all levels of M&A expertise and gave us the opportunity to take part in a real-world experience - says Dawid Pasternak, team member and KU student.
