Admission is based on the results of the matriculation exam (matura) in three subjects chosen by the candidate among all of the subjects in the examination.
Qualifying points are calculated based on the percentage results from the matriculation certificate (nowa matura) as follows:
- 1% at the basic level = 1.5 points
- 1% at the advanced level = 2 points
Grades obtained as result of the "old matriculation", International Baccalaureate system or a foreign high school diploma are also converted into qualifying points.
Candidates who have reached the minimum level of points will be admitted to Kozminski University programs until the enrollment limit for chosen program is reached. The levels to qualify for admission are as shown below:
For Polish instructed programs: 280 points
For English instructed programs: 330 points
For Law and Finance program: 350 points
The Admission Commission has the right to admit a candidate who has not obtained the minimum number points in specific cases.
- Required documents
During the application process candidates must submit a complete set of documents including:
- original high school diploma or a copy issued by the candidates high school
- 2 signed passport photographs
- copy of a national ID or Passport
- proof of payment of the admission fee (non-refundable)
Foreigners are additionally required to submit a proof of proficiency in Polish or get the pass from Admission Committee during an interview checking the proficiency in Polish.
Citizens of the Republic of Poland who obtained their high school diplomas in a foreign country, are required to submit a translation of their diploma by a sworn translator, legalization of their diploma obtained in the embassy or another administration unit in the country where the diploma was issued and they must also obtain a recognition (before the end of the first semester of studies).
Documents can be submitted at the Admission Office on campus of Kozminski University, room D/128. Admission process for the 2019/2020 academic year begins in May, 2019.
The admission fee is 85 PLN for Bachelor and 100 PLN for Master programs.
