Prof. Waldemar Hoff

Professor Waldemar Hoff teaches and heads the Department of Administrative and Public Business Law. His scientific output belongs to the field of social and legal sciences. His publications concern public economic law, administrative law, and most recently, the theory of law (reflections on legal cosmopolitanism). Professor Hoff’s scientific interests focus on the European Union administration, national security, public security, European law culture, the institutional environment of business, legislation, administrative law, energy law, European law, and economic law.

 

Research projects:

Regulatory framework for vactrains as part of the project “HYPERLOOP: The Potential for the Development and Implementation of Vacuum Railway Technology in Poland in the Social, Technical, Economic and Legal Context,” implemented within the Contract for the implementation and financing of the Gospostrateg project 1/387144/27/NCBR/2019 of March 21, 2019, funded by the National Centre for Research and Development as part of the strategic program of scientific research and development: “Social and Economic Development of Poland in the Context of Globalizing Markets GOSPOSTRATEG.”

 

Expert evaluations:

2016 – expert evaluation for the Marshal of the Małopolskie Voivodeship regarding the quality certificate of the control subsystem of rolling stock.

2015 – expert evaluation for TELE2 company regarding frequency assignment, with the law firm Weil, Gotshal & Manges LLP.

2012 – intergenerational dialogue in foreign practice for the Polish Commissioner for Human Rights; September.
