We are glad to announce that Kozminski University's Master in Management program is once again among the best in the world according to the "Financial Times" ranking.

13.09.2021

Kozminski University's Master studies in Management were ranked 59th among the world's one hundred best by the "Financial Times" on September 12th, 2021. The Swiss University of St. Gallen has been placed on the 1st position.

The "FT" ranking shows that it is worth studying management in Europe. There are as many as 81 European universities in the top one hundred. Kozminski University has 2nd place in Central and Eastern Europe region. It is also the only one business school from Poland (59th place in the world). Universities from our region stand out in terms of graduates' careers and rising salaries, which should be associated with the good economic situation during the recovery from the pandemic. Moreover, Kozminski's graduates are distinguished by their high international mobility.

The rankings allow candidates to compare different aspects of studying, such as internationalization, quality of teaching staff, diversity, or duration of studies.

In Poland, the duration of a master's degree lasts 24 months, and this is the case of the management studies at Kozminski University. During this time, it is possible to complete a year of study abroad, if a student is interested in obtaining a double degree - from Kozminski University and one of our five partner universities. Deciding to participate in the Double Degree program, Kozminski University students may obtain a diploma from universities that are also included in the "FT" ranking:  ESCP (7th place), Tongji (31st place), Catolica Lisbon (45th place), Kedge (67th place) and Lancaster University (79th place). Double Degree programs are very popular among students, giving them the opportunity to shape their own educational path and later career. They also undoubtedly affect the development of competencies in the area of intercultural communication and working in international teams - says Prof. Mariola Ciszewska-Mlinarič, Dean of the College of Management at Kozminski University.

Management is one of the most popular fields of study in Poland (after computer science and psychology). Over 25,000 new students choose this field every year. The skills gained during such studies are proven on the job market, the graduates have no problems with employment and earn relatively well. The earnings, professional and financial advancement three years after graduation are the main criteria for assessing the quality of management studies, taken into account by the creators of the "FT" ranking.

We place a strong emphasis on business practice, new digital technologies in management, ethics, and sustainability - this sets our study programs apart from our competitors. The theory remains an important area of knowledge to master, but you need to keep up with the rapidly changing world, keep a close eye on trends and be able to tell the difference between seasonal fashions and lasting trends. That is why we create our curricula in cooperation with business practitioners who are members of the Advisory Council operating close to the Rector, we take seriously the voices of global leaders from the Global Compact and we draw on the experience of other business universities from all around the world, with which we have close relations through international accrediting bodies - says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

We have been classified in the "Financial Times" rankings since 2009.

KU is the only university in the region, which holds the most important international accreditations of AACSB, EQUIS, and AMBA, and for many years the Polish Accreditation Committee has been awarding the highest, distinctive rating to Kozminski University's management program.
