The International Scientific Conference Human-AI Collaboration (HAIC) Summit, organised at Kozminski University, has received funding under the “Vectors of Science (Wektory nauki)” programme established by the Minister of Science and Higher Education. In September 2026, Warsaw will become one of the key points on the global map of debates on artificial intelligence and collaboration between humans and AI systems.
An international platform for human–AI collaboration
HAIC Summit is an international scientific event dedicated to broadly understood collaboration between humans and artificial intelligence. The aim of the conference is to create a platform that connects theory with practice in this field and integrates academic, business and technology communities. The dynamic development of AI is currently accompanied by an increasing fragmentation of knowledge; the conference is intended to help structure the discussion and build bridges between science, the economy and the sectors responsible for the development of new technologies.
HAIC Summit is expected to host world-class experts – researchers and practitioners from leading academic centres, including MIT, Harvard and Stanford, will be invited as keynote speakers and guests. The conference programme will focus on current challenges related to the use of artificial intelligence in organisations and social life, as well as on ethical and regulatory aspects.
Innovative format and hybrid formula
The conference will depart from the traditional, passive participation model based solely on expert lectures. A key element of the programme will be the co-creation of knowledge by participants. The second day of the event will be entirely devoted to intensive workshops in a Problem-Based Learning format, during which participants will work on real-life challenges related to AI applications in different sectors of the economy and areas of social life.
HAIC Summit will take place on 9–11 September 2026 in a hybrid format. Participants will be able to attend the sessions on site, at the Kozminski University campus in Warsaw, or online – from anywhere in the world. This solution is intended to ensure broad access to the conference content and enable participation by representatives of academic and business communities from different continents.
Cooperation with EUonAIR and the importance of the “Vectors of Science (Wektory nauki)” programme
The event is organised in cooperation with the EUonAIR (European University Alliance) project, which guarantees a high substantive level and strong alignment with current research and educational trends in Europe. Partnership within the European university alliance strengthens the international profile of the conference and supports the development of long-term research links.
Funding under the “Vectors of Science (Wektory nauki)” programme will make it possible to deliver a conference with broad reach and an advanced academic agenda, including expert talks, workshops and discussion sessions. The programme was established by the Minister of Science and Higher Education to support conferences presenting current scientific achievements and the latest research results, as well as to disseminate knowledge in areas that are key to the development of science and the economy.
The Human-AI Collaboration (HAIC) Summit conference fits these objectives by creating a space for debate on the role of artificial intelligence in society, the economy and education, and on the future shape of collaboration between humans and AI. Detailed information on registration and the conference programme will be published in upcoming announcements from Kozminski University.
