The Kozminski University community will once again have the opportunity to take part in a unique integration project at sea. From 15 to 22 August 2026, the third edition of the “On the Wave” voyage will take place on board the sailing ship STS Fryderyk Chopin, under the official patronage of Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.
This year’s route will lead from Aberdeen to Ullapool. Students, alumni, lecturers and administrative staff of Kozminski University are invited to join the voyage.
The project offers not only an adventurous experience, but also an opportunity to strengthen the university community. It is designed to build relationships, trust, and openness to cooperation. Sailing on a tall ship requires teamwork, responsibility and mutual support - regardless of one’s professional role or background. On board, what matters is a shared goal, collaboration, and readiness to act as one crew.
No previous sailing experience is required to participate. Curiosity, teamwork and a spirit of adventure are all that is needed.
The “On the Wave” project reflects the idea that a strong academic community is built not only in lecture halls and during formal events, but also through shared experiences. It is an invitation to those who want to take part in something exceptional, meet new people, and experience cooperation from a completely different perspective.
