09.12.2020

Thanks to the signed agreement between Kozminski University and UNEP/GRID-Warsaw, we are opening up opportunities for joint research and international projects focused on ethics, social responsibility and protection of Earth's resources.

- We are very happy to have established a cooperation with UNEP-GRID-Warsaw, which will allow for further development of sustainable development activities at our University. We believe that this partnership will allow Kozminski University to better respond to the most important climate challenges. We are especially looking forward to the cooperation concerning the creation of EcoCraft, i.e. the implementation of sustainable development principles into the Minecraft. Such actions are in the scope of our interest, because as a university we are responsible for educating the future business leaders in the spirit of authentic care for our planet - says Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska-Skierkowska, Vice-Rector for International Relations and ESR at KU.

Cooperation with UNEP/GRID-Warsaw will result in the inclusion of the university in already conducted research projects of this organization, as well as the development of our own original research in the field of business ethics and management of unique resources. The concluded agreement also includes cooperation in the exchange of information, joint scientific publications and sharing of resources. - The agreement gives many mutual benefits, from the activities carried out jointly with UNEP's Science Division, through research and academic cooperation, to strengthening activities in the area of business responsibility. The projects we are already implementing are Climate Leadership, as well as EcoCraft - said Maria Andrzejewska, Director of UNEP/GRID Warsaw.
