The Kozminski University Development Foundation and Tubądzin Group – an innovative ceramic tile manufacturer and one of the most recognized Polish brands in the design and construction sector – have signed an agreement aimed at supporting young people across Poland in accessing high-quality education. The Polish company will fund scholarships to foster the development of future leaders by enabling them to study at Poland’s top business university.
Under the agreement, Tubądzin will provide financial resources to create a scholarship program for candidates planning to start undergraduate or integrated master’s studies – in either Polish or English – at Kozminski University. Recipients selected in the program will have their tuition fees covered for every year of study and will also benefit from mentoring support from the Sponsor – so they can be close to business from the very beginning and understand its realities.
The scholarships will be open to applicants for all programs offered by the university. The selection process will consider academic performance, engagement, interests, motivation to study at Kozminski, and a well-considered choice of field of study. An additional aspect that may be considered – though not required – is the applicant’s financial situation. This way, support may also reach those for whom the decision to study comes with a real financial challenge.
“As business leaders, we know that education changes lives – of individuals, communities, and entire generations. That is why, as a company operating globally but rooted in Poland, we want to give real opportunities and financial support to young people with passion, who are ready to develop their talents and bring value to the world. The partnership with Kozminski University is a natural continuation of this mission,” says Andrzej Wodzyński, Founder of Tubądzin Group.
A partnership built on values Rector of Kozminski University, Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, emphasizes that the scholarship program not only supports individual candidates but also represents an important example of responsible cooperation between education and business.
“Tubądzin is a Polish family business that understands its social role and wants to co-create the future. We are proud that together we can open the doors of education to ambitious and talented people who dream of studying but need encouragement and support. This is what true partnership is about – acting together in the name of values that matter. By funding scholarships, Tubądzin makes a positive impact not only on future generations but also on the shape of the socio-economic environment. All this is rooted in values – setting an excellent example for other companies in the area of corporate social responsibility,” says Prof. Mazurek.
Education with a mission that truly changes the future The Kozminski University Development Foundation carries out programs whose common denominator is empowerment. Thanks to the support of companies like Tubądzin, it is possible to create concrete solutions that change individual lives, strengthen family businesses, and – on a systemic level – the entire education ecosystem.
“Together, we are building bridges between the dream of studying and the real possibility of pursuing it. Each scholarship is not just an opportunity, but also a signal: you matter. Your story, your path, your potential – all of this is important. If you want to study at the best business university in our part of Europe, together with Polish business we are creating a place for your development,” says Dr. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, President of the Management Board of the Kozminski University Development Foundation.
Broader context: the power of partnerships and a modern approach to supporting education For years, Kozminski University has been joining forces with leaders from the business world, creating an educational model based on cooperation, social responsibility, and investment in human capital. In addition to the scholarship program funded by Tubądzin Group, the university runs a number of other initiatives and programs that support access to education – both financially and in terms of personal development. The university has its own patron and a growing group of strategic and supporting partners. Thanks to this, Kozminski remains a leader in building an environment that truly responds to the needs of young people – regardless of their starting point.
