In this record-breaking edition, Szymon delivered a phenomenal performance, placing among the very best runners.
Out of 14,720 participants from around the world, he finished 9th overall with a time of 1:09:37. He was also the 3rd fastest Polish runner, and secured 1st place both in the M20 age category (men aged 20–29) and in the academic classification.
This is not Szymon’s first success on the streets of Warsaw. In previous editions of the Warsaw Half Marathon, he consistently improved his times:
- 2023: 1:12:29 – 1st place in the M20 category
- 2024: 1:10:20 – again 1st place in the M20 category
This year’s race held World Athletics Elite Label status for the first time, attracting strong international competition and making Szymon's achievement even more significant.
Szymon not only demonstrated excellent form and athletic class, but also proudly represented the academic community — proving that education and sporting passion can go hand in hand. His consistency and dedication continue to deliver outstanding results, making him one of the top young long-distance runners in Poland.
The Kozminski University community extends heartfelt congratulations to Szymon and wishes him continued success in his sporting journey!
