Studies that pave the way to becoming a statutory auditor – Kozminski University into cooperation with the Examination Board of the Polish Chamber of Statutory Auditors

02.07.2025

Kozminski University has signed an agreement with the Examination Board for candidates seeking the title of statutory auditor, under which selected courses offered within the part-time study program Statutory Auditor and Financial Audit may be recognized as partial fulfillment of the examination requirements in the qualification process for the profession.   According to the agreement, students who successfully complete the courses Global Economy and Contemporary Financial Market will be eligible to apply for recognition of these subjects as part of the knowledge-based examinations conducted by the Board. The agreement takes effect from the 2025/2026 academic year.   This initiative is another step toward building educational pathways that genuinely shorten the distance between academic study and obtaining prestigious professional qualifications. The University continues to expand its collaboration with regulatory and professional bodies, responding to the evolving needs of the labor market and student expectations.   “Today’s market demands professionals who are not only well-versed in theory but also equipped with a clearly defined career development path. This agreement enables our students to gain not only knowledge, but also a significant time advantage in obtaining statutory auditor credentials,” emphasizes Professor Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.   The signed agreement is part of the University’s broader strategy to combine academic excellence with hands-on professional preparation – particularly in key areas such as auditing, accounting, and financial advisory.
