Viriome, a startup co-founded by Kacper Kupiec, a student of the Law and Business Management programme at Kozminski University, won the first edition of the Change Makers competition, organised by the editors of Money.pl, the InCredibles mentoring programme, and Synektik. The prize for the winners is participation in the InCredibles mentoring programme.

Viriome was founded by Kacper Kupiec and Filip Nawrocki. Established in 2025, the company is developing a phage vector platform for in vivo CAR-T therapy, a novel approach to cancer treatment. The solution developed by the startup addresses some of the most significant limitations of current lipid nanoparticle-based systems, such as thermal instability, the need to maintain a cold chain, and high production costs. In addition, built-in RNA amplification makes it possible to achieve a therapeutic effect at lower doses.

Winning the Change Makers competition marks another important step in Viriome’s development. The startup had previously been a finalist in the CEE DeepTech Start-Up Challenge and won first place in Unicorn Hub. In the Change Makers competition, the project advanced to the group of 11 startups selected for evaluation by the judging panel and was subsequently named the winner of the first edition.

The award gives the team access to the InCredibles programme, initiated by Sebastian Kulczyk. It is one of the most recognisable mentoring programmes for startups in Poland and has been operating since 2017. Participants gain access to one-on-one consultations, workshops, and a network of contacts with mentors, investors, and business practitioners.
