31.10.2025

The guest of the President of the Republic of Poland, Dr. Karol Nawrocki, was Professor Grzegorz W. Kołodko – a distinguished economist, former Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance, lecturer at Kozminski University, and Founding Director of TIGER – Transformation, Integration and Globalization Economic Research Center.

Professor Kołodko is the author of over 500 scholarly publications, including numerous books translated into more than a dozen languages. Recognized as one of the principal architects of Poland’s economic reforms of the 1990s and co-creator of the country’s long-term social and economic development strategy, he has for many years been engaged in an active dialogue with economists, policymakers, and opinion leaders around the world.

Although President Nawrocki and Professor Kołodko represent different perspectives, they share a common view: the growing crisis of public finances calls for a responsible, cross-partisan discussion and the courage to think boldly about the future of the economy.
