A series of meetings took place at Kozminski University as part of the project ‘LighT: Litigating change - Training lawyers on the EU rule of law acquis’. The project initiated cooperation with the following institutions:
- European Constitutional Law - CECL in Greece;
- The Association ProRefugiu in Romania;
- The Centre for the Study of Democracy - CSD in Bulgaria;
- The Centre for Social Sciences Hungarian Academy of Sciences Centre of Excellence - CSS in Hungary.
More than a dozen educational sessions were held in April, May and June 2024, including three at the Academy's premises. The training sessions focused on the rule of law in the European Union and were led by experts, including Professor Maciej De Abgaro Zachariasiewicz from the Department of Civil Law and Dr Michał Ziolkowski from the Department of Constitutional Law.
The detailed results of the project, including the impact on the development of the participants' legal competence, are described in a summary prepared by the Steering Committee.
