How can you lead an organization when the only certainty is change? This is the question addressed in the new book by Prof. Paweł Korzyński of Kozminski University, entitled “Leadership under Uncertainty”, just published by Poltext.
The publication is the result of several years of research conducted together with Prof. Andrzej K. Koźmiński – one of the most renowned Polish authorities in the field of management. The researchers carried out interviews with leaders of 32 startups distinguished in prestigious Forbes and Deloitte rankings, to understand how young, innovative organizations cope with the dynamics of today’s economy, crises, and the growing uncertainty of the environment.
The authors explore, among others:
- how the role of a leader evolves in the face of rapid change,
- which competences and attitudes allow for effective team leadership,
- how to build an organizational culture that supports innovation and resilience,
- what practices are applied by startups that have succeeded in international markets.
The book combines academic perspectives with real business experiences. As such, it is not only a valuable read for scholars and students, but also a practical guide for managers, entrepreneurs, and organizational leaders, who make decisions every day under conditions of limited predictability.
“Leadership under Uncertainty” is an important publication for both the academic and business communities. It contributes to the broader discussion on how to prepare the leaders of the future – resilient, adaptable, and capable of acting in a world where constant change has become the norm.
The book is available in bookstores, online, and through the Poltext publishing house.
