The President of the Republic of Poland has officially conferred academic titles upon a group of scholars and academic professionals. Among those honored is Prof. Eugeniusz Kąciak, Ph.D., who received the title of Professor in Social Sciences in the discipline of Management and Quality Studies. Professor Kąciak is a visiting professor at Kozminski University and a full professor at Brock University in Canada. He holds a post-doctoral (habilitatus) degree in Management Science from Kozminski University, as well as a Ph.D. in Econometrics and an M.Sc. in Management Science, both from the Warsaw School of Economics. He has taught courses in operations management and research methodology at academic institutions in Poland (Warsaw School of Economics, Kozminski University), Algeria (University of Algiers), and Canada (University of Alberta, Laurentian University, and Brock University). Professor Kąciak has an extensive record of scientific publications in top-tier international journals, including Entrepreneurship and Regional Development, Group Decision & Negotiation, International Business Review, Journal of Business Research, Journal of Marketing Research, Small Business Economics, International Small Business Journal, and Journal of Leadership and Organisational Studies. He is also the author or co-author of several books, book chapters, and numerous peer-reviewed conference papers. His research focuses on international entrepreneurship and women entrepreneurship. His academic work has received multiple awards, including the Emerald Literati Award – Highly Commended Paper (2019), Best Paper Awards at the Global Innovation and Knowledge Academy conferences (2013, 2017, 2019), the Distinguished Empirical Paper Award from the Small Business Institute (2015), and the Best Conceptual Paper Award (2018), also from the Small Business Institute.
