The data is presented separately for the entire career and the last year. Scientists are classified into 22 scientific fields and 174 sub-fields according to the standard Science-Metrix classification. The list includes over 100,000 scientists who were evaluated based on criteria such as the Hirsch index, the number of independent citations, and the author’s position and role among co-authors.
