Prof. Bogdan Księżopolski, Head of the Cybersecurity Department at Kozminski University, has been appointed to the National Team of Industry Consultants for occupations and qualifications relevant to vocational education. Within the team, he will support work around telecommunications.
The National Team of Industry Consultants was established under the Ordinance of the Minister of Education of 16 June 2025 and serves as an advisory body to the minister responsible for school education. Its role is to support the development of modern vocational education and to better align it with labour market needs and ongoing economic changes.
The team’s key tasks include, among others, forecasting demand for occupations in the short and long term, consulting on curriculum changes in the vocational education system, developing recommendations concerning sectoral qualifications, identifying future skills that should be fostered in vocational education, and supporting the improvement of the vocational examination system and the promotion of dual education.
Prof. Bogdan Księżopolski’s appointment to the team confirms the importance of Kozminski University’s expert capacity in the areas of new technologies, cybersecurity, and digital transformation. His academic and practical experience can make a significant contribution to work on the future directions of vocational education in sectors related to telecommunications and future technologies.
Prof. Bogdan Księżopolski is the Head of the Cybersecurity Department at Kozminski University and the Head of the Computer Science programme. He specializes in information systems security, cryptography, and applications of artificial intelligence. He is also the founder of the educational startup CyberSkiller.
