Prof. Anna Baczyńska has been appointed to the Mazovian Voivodeship Coordination Team for Skills Policy. The body supports the regional government in activities aimed at developing competences, better aligning education with labour market needs, and strengthening the idea of lifelong learning.
Regional Skills Coordination Teams are part of a broader system of activities financed and developed under Poland’s National Recovery and Resilience Plan. Its goal is to build regional coordination in vocational education, higher education, and lifelong learning, including adult learning.
The teams bring together representatives of various communities involved in the development of education, competences, and the labour market. Their tasks include planning, coordinating, monitoring, and evaluating activities aimed at developing the skills of residents in the regions.
The appointment of Prof. Anna Baczyńska strengthens the participation of the academic community in the discussion on future competences. This area is particularly important for universities, employers, public institutions, and adults who want to develop their qualifications in response to economic and technological changes.
