09.12.2025

Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska, Vice-Rector for Innovation and AI at Kozminski University, has been awarded the title AI Visionary of the Year during AI-Poland Conf – one of the most forward-thinking AI conferences in Europe, created “for developers, by developers”, held on 20 November 2025 in Warsaw.

AI-Poland Conf is a one-day event dedicated to “full-stack AI” – from model engineering and applications of generative artificial intelligence to leadership, ethics and new models of work in the age of AI. It brings together developers, engineers, technology leaders and practitioners who implement AI in real-world organisations.

For years, Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska has combined her academic and teaching work at Kozminski University with research conducted, among others, at MIT and Harvard University, co-shaping the global debate on human–machine collaboration, the future of work and the responsible development of artificial intelligence. She is one of the most recognisable Polish AI experts worldwide, regularly present in international media, think tanks and at key conferences.

The AI Awards presented during AI-Poland Conf honour individuals who genuinely push the boundaries of AI applications – from scientific research, through product development, to implementations in business and the public sector. The title AI Visionary of the Year is granted to a person who not only has a deep understanding of technology, but above all is able to point the way forward: towards responsible, human-centred and bold AI.

On behalf of Prof. Aleksandra Przegalińska, the award was accepted on stage by Dr Maciej Madziński, who also delivered a keynote at the conference titled “Leadership in the Age of AI – Between Promise and Responsibility”. Dr Madziński is an expert in strategy and digital transformation, a lecturer at Kozminski University and Director of the MBA IT programme, which integrates the perspectives of management, technology and innovation.
