Kozminski University launches a new postgraduate program in Chemical Safety Management, developed in collaboration with Lisam – a global leader in Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) compliance solutions. The initiative was created in partnership with Sylwia Maliszewska (Trans-ADR), a recognized expert in REACH, CLP, and GHS regulations. This is the first program of its kind on the Polish market, combining advanced legal and technical knowledge with hands-on practice and access to professional industry software.   “Our goal is to shape a new generation of professionals ready to meet global chemical safety challenges with both theoretical knowledge and practical skills,” said M. Hemberg, CEO at Lisam. “This partnership reflects our commitment to innovation and to supporting education that makes a real impact”.   The program responds to the growing needs of the chemical, pharmaceutical, cosmetics, and FMCG sectors, particularly in the areas of risk management, regulatory compliance, and safety in handling chemical substances. One of the program’s key differentiators is hands-on training with ExESS – a platform used by industry leaders to generate compliant safety data sheets in over 50 languages, aligned with global regulations.   “This is a program for those seeking a competitive edge in the job market and a desire to grow professionally in an area that is essential to today’s industrial landscape. It combines academic excellence with practical experience and modern technologies – and that’s its greatest strength,” says Dr. Sylwia Hałas-Dej, Dean of Kozminski Executive Business School.   The academic design and supervision of the program is led by Professor Magdalena Koczuba-Sobieraj, an expert in management and accounting, and Vice-Dean of the College of Management at Kozminski University. The curriculum includes practical exercises, emergency scenario simulations, and training in the transportation and storage of hazardous substances.   Recruitment for the first edition of the program is now open.
