New in Kozminski University’s academic offer: full-time master’s degree programme in Financial Auditor and Audit (taught in Polish)

08.04.2026

Starting from the 2026/2027 academic year, Kozminski University is expanding its Financial Auditor and Audit master’s degree programme to include a full-time mode of study. Until now, the programme had been offered exclusively in a part-time format. From the new academic year onward, candidates will be able to choose the study mode that best suits their needs.

The programme has already attracted strong interest and responds to growing market demand for highly qualified professionals in audit, accounting, and financial control. Expanding the offer is another step in the development of Kozminski University’s degree portfolio, which consistently combines high academic standards with practical preparation for professional careers.

The launch of the full-time format is accompanied by an extension of the University’s cooperation with the Examination Commission for Candidates for Statutory Auditors. Under the agreements in place, graduates of the full-time programme will also be eligible to apply for exemptions from 10 written examinations in the qualification process for statutory auditors. The curriculum covers 100% of the learning outcomes required by the Examination Commission, which in practice significantly shortens the path toward obtaining these prestigious professional qualifications.

“We are pleased to respond to the diverse expectations of candidates by offering both full-time and part-time study paths within a degree programme of such strong relevance to the market and to graduates’ professional futures. In both modes, our students gain not only solid knowledge, but also a real time advantage on the path to obtaining statutory auditor qualifications,” says Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Rector of Kozminski University.

The Financial Auditor and Audit master’s degree programme prepares students for careers in financial audit, accounting, and internal control. The curriculum has been designed to develop the competencies needed to assess financial statements, conduct audits, and implement supervisory and internal control procedures in organisations operating across various sectors of the economy.

During the programme, students acquire knowledge in accounting, financial auditing, finance, economics, law, and professional ethics. Classes are taught by experienced academics and practitioners, and the programme is aligned with international standards, preparing graduates for work both in Poland and abroad.

“This programme is designed for those who want to develop in a profession that requires precision, responsibility, and a very strong understanding of financial mechanisms. Our goal was to create a curriculum that not only meets the formal and substantive requirements related to the path toward statutory auditor qualifications but also prepares students well for work in a real business environment. Launching the full-time format allows us to respond even better to the needs of candidates who want to pursue this path in this form,”says Dr Wojciech Strzelczyk, Head of the Programme.

Graduates of the programme are well prepared to develop careers in audit firms, internal audit departments of large organisations, and financial institutions.
