Kozminski University has signed a new Erasmus+ agreement with the prestigious European University Institute (EUI), located in Fiesole, near Florence, Italy. This collaboration marks another step in the development of our international academic partnerships and opens new opportunities for Ph.D. candidates and faculty exchange.
The European University Institute was established in 1972 by the six founding members of the European Communities. It is a leading postgraduate and research institution specializing in the social sciences and humanities. With more than 1,000 scholars from over 60 countries, EUI is known for its vibrant international academic community and strong ties to key European Union institutions, including the European Commission.
Under the newly signed agreement, Ph.D. students from EUI will be able to undertake academic visits to Kozminski University and collaborate with our faculty members. Plans are also underway to develop staff exchange, particularly in the fields of Economics and Law.
“Strong ties between the European University Institute and EU institutions make it a particularly compelling choice for postgraduate studies in Europe, especially for our graduates in Law and Economics,” says Prof. Bartłomiej Nowak, Vice Rector of Kozminski University and Dean of the Law School.
This cooperation aligns with Kozminski University’s internationalization strategy and reinforces our position as a research-oriented institution actively engaged in the European academic community.
