A first-year law student at Kozminski University, Karol Bartoszek, won the bronze medal in the men’s individual category at the Polish Academic Archery Championships, held in Warsaw on June 13–14, 2025. Representing Kozminski University, he secured the institution’s position as the only university from Warsaw to win a medal in this category.

The competition brought together top student archers from across the country, who competed in the disciplines of recurve, compound and barebow archery. Karol Bartoszek, a member of the Polish National Team and current second runner-up in the Polish Junior Olympic Archery Championships, demonstrated a high level of technical and mental preparation throughout the tournament.

This achievement confirms that it is possible to successfully combine demanding legal studies with elite-level sports training. It also reflects the university’s commitment to supporting the development of student talent across academic and athletic domains.

According to the Polish Archery Federation’s calendar, several national events are scheduled for the second half of the year, including the Polish Senior Cup, youth league competitions and field and compound tournaments.
