In January 2025, San Francisco will host one of the most important economic scientific events - the annual meeting of the American Economic Association. Among scholars from all over the world, Malwina Rzepka, a PhD student at Kozminski University, received an invitation to the event, whose paper analysing the housing market was selected for presentation at the ceremonial poster session.
An invitation to the American Economic Association is a great honour and recognition - authors of less than 5% of all submitted papers receive it. Malwina Rzepka's paper, entitled ‘Identifying Housing Market Bubbles: Bespoke Bubbles for Diverse Market Structures’, analyses different housing market structures and proposes new methodologies for their interpretation. The presentation at the American Economic Association opens up further opportunities for scientific development in collaboration with leading universities and research centres. The American Economic Association meeting provides an excellent opportunity to exchange experiences and learn about the latest economic findings. Participants have the chance to take part in numerous discussions and thematic sessions. For Kozminski University, the presence at this prestigious forum is a confirmation of the high level of research conducted and an excellent opportunity to establish international contacts and promote the university's achievements. The Kozminski University community warmly congratulates Malwina on the award and wishes her further success in her academic work.
