On Sunday, August 31, 2025, the Kozminski University team took part in the charity relay Poland Business Run 2025, which this year was held at Warsaw’s Bemowo Airport. It is an event where business, education, and sport come together with a common goal – to help those in need.
The University was represented by: Rector, Prof. Grzegorz Mazurek, Dr. Jan Jakub Szczygielski, Aleksandra Pucek-Mioduszewska, Julia Klimek, and Zachariasz Stawowiak. Each runner completed a four-kilometer leg of the course, and the whole team achieved an excellent result – 59th place among nearly 600 teams from all over Poland.
For the past 13 years, the Poland Business Run has shown that sport is not only about competition but above all about solidarity and support. The funds raised are allocated to rehabilitation and prosthetics for people with motor disabilities, as well as to projects supporting those at risk of social exclusion.
For our university community, participating in the run is not only a sporting challenge but also a way of putting into practice the values that are at the heart of Kozminski University’s mission – social responsibility, collaboration, and support for initiatives that truly change people’s lives. A huge round of applause for the commitment, determination, and passion of our team! We are proud that together we can build an academic community that not only teaches and inspires but also acts for the benefit of others.
