Thirty women have joined the second edition of the Inter-University Educational Programme within GPW FutureBridge – Women’s Leadership Programme. Over the coming months, participants will develop the skills needed to serve on management and supervisory boards. Kozminski University is one of the initiative’s three academic partners.
GPW FutureBridge combines academic knowledge with experience from business and the capital markets. Kozminski University jointly delivers the programme with SGH Warsaw School of Economics and Warsaw University of Technology Business School. Their shared goal is to prepare participants to make responsible decisions, manage organisations and oversee their operations.
The Inter-University Educational Programme comprises 120 hours of classes covering corporate governance, finance, strategic management, ESG and capital market regulation, among other topics. Classes are led by academics, practitioners, and experts. Learning is complemented by opportunities to exchange experiences and build professional relationships, reflecting the project’s three pillars: education, development, and relationships.
The launch of the second edition took place in the Trading Hall of the Warsaw Stock Exchange (GPW). Guests were welcomed by Tomasz Bardziłowski, President of the GPW Management Board. Participants also heard from Eliza Zeidler, Deputy Minister of State Assets, and Dominika Niewiadomska-Siniecka, a member of the management boards of GPW and the GPW Foundation, who shared their reflections on women’s professional development.
The event featured a panel discussion entitled “The Leader of the Future”, focusing on leadership challenges, development opportunities and career paths in business and the capital markets. Sylwia Mroczkowska-Adamiak, representing the Alumnae Club of the first edition of the GPW FutureBridge Inter-University Educational Programme, offered a graduate’s perspective. The first edition was completed by 31 participants, who spent six months developing their management and oversight skills.
The second edition of the programme is held under the patronage of the Ministry of State Assets. The initiative’s partners are ORLEN, PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, PKO Bank Polski, PZU and TAURON Polska Energia.
